What Did You Say?! Overcoming Negative Self-talk
I’ve been working as an Intuitive for over twenty years. People call me when they’re in the midst of change and trying to figure out next steps in their lives.
One of the things I constantly notice is that during these times of transition we have a tendency to fill our minds with negative thoughts.
Things like, “I’ll never be able to…” “I can’t.” “I must be doing something wrong.” You get the idea. You probably have some habitual sayings yourself!
Next time you catch yourself saying something discouraging, try one of these instead:
- Today I choose faith over fear.
- I choose to feel peaceful, (contented, happy, optimistic.)
- Things have a way of working out for me.
- I trust the process of life.
- I know this situation will turn around for the good. I choose to be patient as it all unfolds.
- I am open to new and wonderful possibilities.
- My intuition is always providing answers and new direction.
- I am open to new avenues of prosperity, work and creativity.
