Many of my readers know that my business began seemingly overnight when an article appeared in the Boston Globe newspaper. I was still working at my job in a software company. I was torn between leaving my job to do the readings full time and trying to do both at once. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety about this decision. “Can I do my software job and begin the psychic reading business at the same time?” was how I phrased my question to God in my prayers.

I was still thinking about this as I drifted off to sleep one night. I woke up the next morning, laughing. I had received the answer in my dreams. I dreamt that I was out on a lake and I was in “canoes.” That’s right. I had one foot in one canoe and the other foot in another canoe and they were both pointed in different directions! I gave notice at my job the next day and haven’t had a moment of regret since.
