Attracting What You Want – An Intuitive Exercise

I’m a believer in the Law of Attraction. However, it’s a bit more complex than some would have you think. For example, intuition plays a big role in how and when we manifest what we want.

There is a Divine Intelligence that wants you to succeed.  It wants you to be happy about your life and living.  It wants you to do the thing or things you’re passionate about.  That’s part of your mission here on Earth.  It doesn’t matter what that mission is, whether it’s being a good mother or father, a great dancer, a whiz at accounting, an awe-inspiring athlete or a profound philosopher.  This Intelligence wants you to succeed and will do whatever it can to assist you.

Here’s an intuition exercise that I’d like you to try. I’m going to ask you to try some things on pure faith, and to put aside your natural inclination to make logical sense of this process.

  1. Take time each day to visualize and affirm your goal.  In this way you add power to the vibrational energy that will attract your goal.  Your feelings and emotions are an important part of this process.  What does it feel like to have what you want?  Use the power of your emotions as you visualize.
  2. You will need to work diligently at keeping your focus off what you don’t want and maintain the focus on your goal.  Learn to re-direct your thoughts.  When you notice yourself dwelling on pessimistic or negative thoughts, shift your focus to what you want.
Each day take at least one action step toward what you’re excited about. This might mean taking a class, going to an informational interview, joining a club or association, writing an article, making a call, sending an e-mail.  Your excitement is a message from your intuition about the next step to take.  Whatever it is — do it!
  3. Your goal should be to enjoy this process.  Learn to be grateful for all that you’ve created.  As you move towards your desired outcome, you’ll find new objectives emerging.  That’s fine and as it should be.  Remember to have fun!
  4. Begin to notice new things coming your way. Your goal or intention may not be fully realized in a day, week or month. Simply pay attention to things shifting in your favor.

Let me know what happens!
What’s your best tip for manifesting desired change? What would you like to add to this list?

    Hi Lynn!
I’ve got a question concerning your post’s topic.
I’ve been visualizing today as usual and have achieved a very true state. It felt so real, just wonderful…
And then one though came into my mind, sharp, urgent: “call L. immedeatly”.
I stoped visualising and have called that person expecting a wonderful outcome, but it didn’t happen. After the conversation I was feeling suprised, pitty, doubtful.. Still now I feel very confused.
If that was my inner voice – probably it doesn’t want my happiness :-)
If it’s something else – what is that?
It happens somewhat often I must say…
Do you have any ideas on how can I improve this situation?
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Best regards
    Natalia

  4. Hi Natalia –
Sometimes it takes practice trying to discern what’s our true inner voice (intuition) or just ego or simply our chattering mind!

See if you can figure out when it truly IS your intuition speaking. Mine generally speaks in a quiet, peaceful way. I actually FEEL or sense it more than HEARING it. But, that’s just me.

One note about your example… it sounds like you had an expectation about WHY you were supposed to call “L.” Perhaps your intuition was right. Maybe she needed to hear from you for some reason.’

Don’t you wish that “still, quiet, inner voice” would use a darn megaphone once in awhile!? ;-)

    Lynn
