Meditations & Prayers

What is prayer? Many people think of it as a conversation with God (Higher Power, Divine Wisdom.) Others think of prayer as sitting in silence, feeling and experiencing a Divine presence which is calming and healing. Whatever your definition, prayer is a powerful vehicle to elicit change, help us with issues of faith, and provide guidance and wisdom.

Any personal ordeal you face is a turning point. Within any crisis are opportunities and choices. Your personal difficulty provides you with the tools to lead a deeper and richer life if you allow it. To have faith means that you surrender to the wisdom of God, knowing that at the center of every storm is a place of peace and calm. Your challenge in every situation is to find that place. It’s not so much a specific outcome but to know that whatever happens, you will grow in your capacity for peace, love, compassion, forgiveness and healing. I believe this is truly the reason we are all here on earth.

My hope is that these prayers will be as helpful to you as they have been for me.

There is a wise saying which goes “What we resist, persists”.
